Peel Pride
Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. Last week was extremely hectic and I did not have much time to post much. School, work and the weekend.
This weekend though, the LGBTQ group on my campus was present at our Peel Region's 3rd annual Peel Pride.
It was both a hectic, stressful and fun experience. The day started off on a note so good note. Disorganization and lack of communication... but it later got better. Despite the cloudy and rainy rain conditions the Pride of Peel shone through. Free food (burgers and cupcakes!), live performances and good people. I won a prize in the raffle! it was a stag shop goody bag, which included, vibrator, harness, lube and other goodies... most of which i will have no use for... but the fact that i won was pretty cool.
The day ended with dancing in the heavy rain with some people who I cherish dearly, and I wouldnt change it for the world.

Oh yeah, the other night i fell off my longboard whilst going down hill... i went to the hopsital
I'm fine now.. just some minor bruises and scrapes, and a sore body (in addition to my spinning class soreness). Really, i'm just waiting for my body to regenerate itself so i can head back out there.

i think the title speaks for itself... but if you MUST know, it was RIBFEST in Mississauga this weekend.
I went twice, both times with family. Once at night and then once during the day... you'll be able to tell between the photos, due to the obvious lack of sun.

HOT AND WET
The heatwave in Canada has yet to stop. It was 32 degrees, but felt like 40!! how does one function in this heat? or rather what does one even do? YOU GO TO WONDERLAND OF COURSE!
Today i went to wonderland with my wifey Krystle to beat the heat. It was insane, cuz the park was so empty that we literally didnt have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to get on the big ticket rides that usually take around half an hour to an hour to get to the front of the line. VIP STATUS!
It was getting unbearably hot so we decided to go to the water park portion of the park. THATS WHERE ALL THE LINES WERE. all the water slides were jam packed with people, but luckily we had no interest in them. We just went into the wave pool and cooled off. It was the best feeling ever.
Should i mention that i saved a little girl's life today? She was on the verge of drowning and was struggling to keep her head above water as the waves were coming over her head. Her friend was trying to give her a life jacket, but wasnt succeeding with that at all. I hear the girl gasping for air, and muttering.... "i....*gulp want to *gulp* go back...." i instantly stepped in and carried the girl up above the water. Shocked she looked at me, and i asked did you wanna go back? and she nodded in distress. I walked her back to where she could stand and she walked away, and thanked me.
We stayed in the water a few minutes more, then decided to go lay out. Fell asleep tanning. woke up, was super hungry so we went off the park to eat at kelseys. We came back to an even more dead park, with virtually no line ups! A few more rides and we headed home.
